The Soul - Grandma's House

This is where it all began. The rehabilitation of my grandmother's house is more than a renovation; it is our proof of concept. It is the physical manifestation of our mission, restoring a piece of family and neighborhood history with our own hands. This project serves as the living, breathing case study for our training model and a testament to the fact that our first and most important work often starts at home.
The Heart: Community Theatre

Institution-building must feed the soul. Our planned outdoor community theater will be a free, accessible space for connection, celebration, and storytelling. It will be a venue for film screenings, spoken word, and community gatherings, ensuring that as we rebuild the physical landscape, we also nurture the cultural heart of our neighborhood. This is where we make memories together.
The Engine: Foundation Rehab #2

True growth is built on a foundation of self-sustaining capital. This duplex is our first strategic asset, acquired to generate reliable rental income. Revnues from this property is directly reinvested into funding the Aya Foundation's programs, including the future Aya House residency program. This isn't just a building; it's the financial engine that ensures our mission can endure and expand, independent of fleeting grants or donations. We are building with our own capital.

The Hub is the economic and cultural engine of our ecosystem. This physical space will be part curated marketplace for community-made goods, part café, and part business incubator ("The Foundry"). It is here that we will provide the legal and business education for our residents and the wider community to form LLCs and launch their own enterprises. The Hub is where culture and commerce meet to fuel lasting growth.
